I got out the NIKON this past weekend (see, B, I DO know how to spell it- HA!) with Bethany here and thought it would be a good time to get a few pics of all my babies together. "Thought" being the operative word. Here's how it went:
Mac was the photographer here - in fact, he was it most of the time - he didn't make any of the pics. Can you see Reid's head in the bottom left corner? He didn't too much want his picture taken. And I guess Grant had the belt in his hand to whip us all into shape? Not sure. :) And I surely don't know what that look's all about! Then there's my Sweet B who just goes with the flow and makes the best of it!
Yeah, not much to say about this one...
Reid's all about his Mommy these days and doesn't like to share.
"If you don't get off Mommy's lap, I'll punch you!"
Seriously...
And Reid gets his way - AGAIN!
At least years down the road I'll be able to look back and remember how it really was when they were this age. :)
Every year at the start of the cooler months Chris and I make a big pot of brunswick stew as well as chili. We usually have about 12 quarts of each to freeze, and if I'm feeling generous I'll share a quart or two with some friends and family - I'm stingy with my stew and chili! :) HA! It's one thing I don't mind about the weather being too cold to grill out:

The boys of course wouldn't let the cold get the best of them and wanted to play outside again today for a little while. So again we bundled up and braved the cold. And again, we ended the afternoon with toasting our buns by the fire. The boys love that they can use their own toys to bring in the firewood so they're ready and willing to help. And I, in turn, am so thankful for Power Wheels!

Several comments here:
1. Picture taking is exactly the same way with us. Bethany is constantly smiling at the camera like she's the only one in the picture and the girls look like they're circus acts. So I can sympathize!
2. Reid and Cate must get together pronto. I'd love to see them go at it and see who comes out with the most teeth and hair. The only thing is that they both always get their way because of their nature, so it would probably make for an interesting match.
3. Pink is inside, but you're a much nicer person than I am. She's in her kennel in the laundry room and I have a humidifier running round the clock to suck out the nasty dog smell. B-U-N-K.
4. Do I qualify as the part of the friends and family who receive any of the chili reserves? Just thought I'd put that out there...
5. Heard you're coming to the pep rally next week....I bet B will win the award for most Nikons in her face! HA! Papa, papa, paparazzi...
