MORE PAINTED LADY NEWS, A SWEET NOTE, & THE DOCTOR IS IN

PAINTED LADIES:

I'm so amazed at the whole process of a caterpillar becoming a beautiful butterfly. I've always loved butterflies and can't wait to see ours hopefully in a few days. All of our caterpillars changed into a chrysalis, so it was time to move them to their habitat for them to emerge as Painted Ladies.

The chrysalis - isn't it so pretty!
And my poor little 3.2 mexapixel camera on my BB just can't do it any justice! :)

All of them:
We were only guaranteed 3-5 would make it to this stage. All of them did.

Tucked safely into their habitat:
Now we wait!

JUST WHEN I NEEDED IT:

Grant is learning to read and write more every single day. He's quite proud of himself (as well he should be - so are we!) He loves to show off his skills and did just that by leaving me a sweet note the other day. It was one of those days where I felt like all I had done was clean up one room only to go find a mess in another - a day where I felt like the laundry and dishes kept multiplying despite having already cleaned the kitchen and steadily having a load of laundry going - a day where I felt like I had played referee more than mom and all I had done was fuss at them. This was the outside of the envelope:
Too sweet!

MIGHT WE HAVE A DOCTOR ON OUR HANDS?

Stranger things have happened! :) I have been feeling a bit under the weather going on two weeks now. It's nothing that's getting me completely down just low-grade fever off and on and fatigue along with a little congestion and cough. But the fatigue is the main thing, especially when the fever spikes a bit. Yesterday Chris took Grant and Mac out for a while then on to the grocery store so I could try to get a little rest. I got out the thermometer (or "mometer" as Reid calls it) to check my temperature. Reid decided I needed his help.

This won't hurt a bit:

Concentrating - SOOOO serious:

UH OH, you have "tempashure":
Notice the bright blue Band-Aid that looks like a terry cloth sweatband. The steri-strips came off, and he was all upset he had nothing to cover up his boo-boo. Nothing would satisfy him but the blue Band-Aid!

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
Psalm 126:3

Love the sweet envelope...makes all the laundry, dirty dishes, refereeing, cleaning, etc seem worth it! ; )

Too cute! That's one of those that you hang on to forever...and then in about 13 years you can pull it back out and remind him of how much he loves you! :)
