THUNDER BEACH - FALL 2011

There's not much more I can say about Thunder Beach that I haven't already said here and here. It's just plain fun. We rode.

Locals must hate bike week - these signs are EVERYWHERE..
And so are motorcycles

We ate some really good food. We drank. We saw old friends and made new ones.

We people watched (WOW - did we ever! Aside from riding that's one of the most fun things about going). We watched football. We enjoyed our time together sans kids. Well, kinda sans kids. We took Lucy. I've become one of those people - those dog people I've always made so much fun of. HA! :) But I just couldn't board her, and my mom isn't exactly into dog sitting. ;)

We went to some venues we frequent every rally and tried some new ones.

We had no certain place to be or time to be there. Bike rallies always make for a good time, and this one was no exception. We fit right in with every other redneck Harley rider within riding distance.

A new experience for us this year was staying in the camper. I don't see us doing bike week any other way now. That just added to all the fun.

We've already booked our campsite and are looking forward to Spring Rally 2012.

As much fun as it is to get away for a few days, (thanks to mom, dad and Dawnie) by Sunday I'm on a mission to get back to these sweet faces.

Cliche but... there's no place like home.
